I downgrade 1.3.11 to 1.3.5 and my router brick. Only led power is on, can not communicate with him. I have a serial cable, a cable Nokia CA-42.
My router is a TP LINK WR741nd version 2, as I proceed to recover it, step by step?
I am very novice, thank you for help now.

http://wiki.openwrt.org/toh/tp-link/tl-wr741nd
Are you following that guide and getting into Failsafe Mode?
Also according to that page, you might have to use at least
Version 1.3.10 or 1.3.11 for the router to work.
Version 1.3.5 looks like it would work on Earlier builds
(Less than v2) but if you have a V2, 1.3.10 or later?

Re: TPLINK WR741ND BRICKED! How to recover?
I installed the 1.3.11 version, client bridge dont work, for tests I tried to install 1.3.5, the router brick. Only power led is on.
The failsafe mode dont work. I read my only salvation is recover by serial cable.
Thanks for reply.

Disclaimer: I have no direct knowledge of this particular router! but since no-one else seems to be offering info ....
OpenWRT wiki referred to by DoesItMatter suggests that your router should be recoverable by tftp see here
the method I use is described here
perhaps someone with more detailed knowledge of your particular router could comment on the firmware_image_to_use
searching for WR741ND on this forum brings up a few relevant posts
looks like dzeus has had some success with 1.3.10, but you might also try 1.3.12 (haven't seen any reports of success with this latest gargoyle for WR741ND)
hope this helps

Thanks so much for reply!
Tftp dont work form "No response from server"
My only salvation is serial cable, but I dont no the procedure, nothing. Dont have topics explaining the serial method for 741nd v2.
Again, thanks!
