Re: 1043nd v1 internet interuptions
It would be great if you could provide more details so that we can try to help you.
Reading the section "reporting an issue or bug" would give a great example of what to do:
https://github.com/ericpaulbishop/gargo ... /README.md
Thanks

Re: 1043nd v1 internet interuptions
Gargoyle Version - 1.12 (stable)
Router Make, Model and Version - TP-Link WR1043nd v1.8
What were you doing when the bug occurred? - internet surfing
What happened (what's the bug)? - no internet link in 20 seconds
What did you expect to happen (what is your expectation of the proper behaviour)? - stable internet
Can you reproduce the bug everytime, sometimes, rarely? (For rare issues, start with the forums and see if others are seeing the same issue) -
repeated every 20-30 minutes, in youtube every 10 minutes
Exact steps to reproduce the bug - just internet surfing

Re: 1043nd v1 internet interuptions
What is your wan connection? Is it ethernet or wifi?
Is the internet lost on all devices or just some?
Does the uptime counter reset (i.e. is it crashing and rebooting)?
If it is not crashing, can you provide a logread once the fault occurs (see here: viewtopic.php?f=8&t=8505)

Nothing in there indicates any problem sorry.
Perhaps someone else will have an idea or suggestion for you.

Re: 1043nd v1 internet interuptions

1. Possible outages will be caused by changing the MAC address on the WAN side - check or clone the correct MAC address.
2. Make sure the WAN and LAN are different subnets.
3. Bad contact on WAN port.
The only thing I read from the log was the IP address recovery after 4 hours, when the DHCP server declares 28800 seconds (8 hours).
EDIT: But when I look at my log, it's also divided by two

Re: 1043nd v1 internet interuptions
In default, MAC address on the WAN and LAN were same, i set checkbox "Use custom MAC adress" for WAN, and now it works without problems!RomanHK wrote: ↑Thu May 14, 2020 10:08 am

This happens quite often with Android, even if you are set not to disconnect and use PowerSave
