My router is TPLINK WR741ND with Gargoyle 1.3.11:
It´s possible to use my router like a switch? He would pass across the wan port connection by WIFI directly without routing or firewall. It would also have the same IP network.
I used this way with another router with wappro 6.3.
Thanks

Re: TPLINK WR741ND as a switch?
Under Connection -> Basic
Configure Device As = Wireless Bridge / Repeater
WAN Ethernet Port - Bridge to LAN if you want an extra port.
Put the TPLink WR741ND router Bridge IP into your OTHER router's
DMZ zone setting, that way the WR741ND should look like it is on
the same device with no extra firewall blocking.
Don't add any settings under the Gargoyle Firewall settings.
I believe this should work for you.

Re: TPLINK WR741ND as a switch?
In Wireless Bridge / Repeater it´s necessary to scan wireless network, dont provide SSID.
I want to spend my internet signal wire, leaving the router, connect the WR-741ND and give the signal transmitted by WiFi, like a switch; don´t routing the IP. I need all PCs in same subnet.
I wish this network topology:
Thanks for the reply!
Update:
Has done what he suggested, I can only use the network in cable. In the wireless network can not find the 741ND (SSID).

Re: TPLINK WR741ND as a switch?
Does QoS work when 741 is in switch mode?

Not related to original topic but I believe it does NOT workkurjak wrote:Does QoS work when 741 is in switch mode?
when the router is acting like a switch.
The device has to do all the routing to do QoS adjustments as
well as any other monitoring, etc.
