Did I brick my fon2200?
I had OpenWrt Backfire 10.03 installed and tried to upgrade to the latest Gargoyle experimental via LuCI's upgrade page. The checksum was correct for the img file, and I waited about 15-20 minutes, and then I noticed the routers wlan light was off, and thought the upgrade process was finished. I then set my ip as 192.168.1.23 but I cannot ping 192.168.1.1 . I've tried power cycling the device, and first the power light comes on then the internet light, but no wlan light. Did I brick it?

Hardwire connect to the Fon and re-flash a current image
Use Fon-Flash in the Download section
I recommend the 1.2.5 build - try that first.
The 1.3.x series builds takes up a bit more memory, and although
the Fon's have 8MB flash, they only have 16MB Ram and can run
out of RAM very quickly.
It's HARD to brick Fon 2100/2200/2201 since they have Redboots.

Re: Did I brick my fon2200?
I re-flashed it with the 1.2.5 build, and the flash utility said it was successfully flashed. However, when I turn it on I can ping it for the first couple seconds when the ethernet light comes on, and then I get Destination Host Unreachable. Any ideas on what's going on?

no problem flashing back to Openwrt kamakazie or backfire... I don't know why but I'm having trouble with Gargoyle

After flashing back to OpenWRT, I was able to flash to 1.2.5
