The strategy which Eric suggested is good, it will just need some work.
The suggestion was to have Dog enabled at the Gargoyle level, and devices queried Gargoyle as normal.
So unencrypted device -> Gargoyle. Encrypted Gargoyle -> DNS.
This means the user has to trust Gargoyle locally. This will allow us to capture DNS requests still and do adblocking and webmon.
If the user wants full end to end encryption, their call but things won't work.
Disabling or blocking browser level DoH may be something we look at offering.
