Folks,
After getting and ISP that provides more than 100mbit it seems that my WR1043 v3 is having some issues working faster than 130mbit. Actually it is 130-140mbit download and about 160mbit for upload, on cable of course. But it cannot go any faster. Of course when no router is used, but I'm connected straght to ISP interface (RJ45 on one side and fibre on the other) there is no problem reaching 300/300.
There are no additional packets installed on my Gargoyle, there are some endpoints configured, but no VPN, no any complicated config.
Am I reaching speed cap for this hardware? Read that official tp-link firmware supports some kind of hardware switching that is not available on Gargoyle, but well... I'm not so eager to go back.

Wrt32x or Wrt3200acm?
Is there any real list of differences?
Maybe something just a tad cheaper?

you can't have it both ways
you can't have cheap and fast
You might get full speed with OEM firmware
