Time based restrictions using UMT not local?

Time based restrictions using UMT not local?
I use time based restrictions in the firewall module to restrict my son’s internet access to set times. It hasn’t been working since the upgrade to v1.11 (no preserve). From a bit of quick testing it looks like the restrictions are being applied based on UMT (GMT for those of us older) rather than local Australian time. Ie I added a block on my ipad for 09:00-10:00 and even though its 19:35 here my ipad was blocked (its 09:35 in Britain). My guess is the module is using non local time.

And then please do post back whether it fixed the issue as I’ve been looking for feedback on it.

Re: Time based restrictions using UMT not local?
The blocking rule is based on the time of the router, not the time of the iPad. Check the correct time zone setting:

Re: Time based restrictions using UMT not local?
Roman, timezone is correct. My point is that the rules being applied appear to be using uncorrected UMT rather than local timezone.

Re: Time based restrictions using UMT not local?
Upgraded using the latest build (and preserved settings so i didnt have to retype all the ip address assignments).
All seems to be working well and as far as I can see its solved the timezone problem.
One thing i am not sure about is the new build doesnt seem to be as responsive but thats very subjective so could just be my imagination.

Re: Time based restrictions using UMT not local?
OK, just had to reboot. Traffic across the ethernet to my server was slowing down last night and when I got up this morning ping was over 3 seconds and throughput down to virtually nil.
I have rebooted and will see what happens. Ping still seems high going via gargoyle but not if I connect directly to my network gateway.

Is QOS turned on?
Try turning it off for a test?
