Hello, got a quick question about quotas and the restrictions you can apply once its reached.
I am wondering if it is possible to set rules for specific hosts once a quota is reached and set multiple rules for them. I know it is possible to set specific quotas but I need one global quota and set specific restrictions per host/app/service once its reached.
ex: I have my main comp, a voip gateway and a media server.
I am limited to 60gb combined from my isp so I set my quota at about 55 or so to give some room.
Once the quota is reached, I throttle my connection. I have a "restricted" class which I force a maximum bandwidth. The problem is that I would like to throttle services and hosts more precisly, ex: cut streaming from my media server, allow my voip unrestricted acces, kill torrents overall, leave minimum for browsing and online gaming on my main comp, etc.
I dont see a way to do that, is that something im missing or is the option not there? (if it is the latter, *hint* suggestion for a cool feature *hint*). So far the only thing that I see that would work perfectly is the option to set QoS rules (that is on the same page as setting the classes), but in the throttling options, you can only choose which class you want all the traffic to go thru, having the same options as the QoS rules would work fine tho. hmm.
Thx in advance for the help

Re: Restrictions once quota is reached
I would love to be able to do this. Setting Quota's based on service/ports would be really awesome.
