Bandwidth Distribution Percentages Askew
After a while on the Bandwidth Distribution page, the percentages go off...

Refreshing the page in the browser corrects the issue temporarily. I usually have one browser tab set to this page and return to it every now and then while browsing on other tabs.

Re: Bandwidth Distribution Percentages Askew
Can you give a reproducible time frame for this to occur?
I expect your login session is expiring and hence it can no longer retrieve the data from the router.
Happy to test it if you can tell me how long

Re: Bandwidth Distribution Percentages Askew
It just started happening after about 5 minutes. My session is set for 12 hours. I can go to other tabs and come back and the percentages can be wrong or I can open a window on top of the browser window...such as "Snipping Tool", and close it and the percentages are wrong.
The Bandwidth Distribution pie chart does not show these askew percentages, however, it stops showing newly connected devices. The table showed 7 devices and the pie chart only showed 3. Also, I had two devices in both (pie chart and table) this morning that were no longer in the building since the night before. I had to reboot the router to remove them.

Re: Bandwidth Distribution Percentages Askew
After it begins showing you these errors, can you please provide a system log (logread) and browser errors (F12) from the developer console?

Re: Bandwidth Distribution Percentages Askew
Where do I type "logread"?
One I enter F12, where are the errors?
One I enter F12, where are the errors?
Re: Bandwidth Distribution Percentages Askew
You probably can't do either of those from a mobile device (hence my question about the problem on other machines).

Re: Bandwidth Distribution Percentages Askew
Tried both Putty and WinSCP. Both give me "connection refused". I'm using my desktop and I'm able to ping the router and get to the web interface from it. It must be the modem itself blocking the connection.
Re: Bandwidth Distribution Percentages Askew
If you can't provide me error logs, i can't begin to guess a solution for you.
Sorry.

Re: Bandwidth Distribution Percentages Askew
There's another way to provide a "logread" (system log).mrroute wrote:Where do I type "logread"?

1) Go to "System > Plugins".
2) Install "logread for Gargoyle" plugin.
3) Now go to "System Logs".
4) That's a "logread". Simply copy all and paste it here (inside a code tag, please)
e.g.
Code: Select all
"logread info"
TP-Link Archer C7 v2 - Gargoyle 1.12.X
TP-Link WR842ND v2 - Gargoyle 1.10.X
TP-Link RE450 AC v2 - Stock FW 1.0.4
TP-Link WA850RE v1.2 - LEDE 17.01.1

Re: Bandwidth Distribution Percentages Askew
Remote SSH access is disabled in the interface. I had to enable it. Now I can get in. I'll paste the logs the next time I see the issue.
