Hi there,
Your router should be compatible with the latest versions of Gargoyle (1.9.2).
If you upgrade, make sure you don't attempt to preserve your settings.

With the new firmware wifi will be much better.
Anecdotal evidence suggests through put will be reduced. Only a problem on fast internet connections.
