Hello,
I have been using TL-WR841N with Gargoyle and been extremely satisfied with the performance for my usage. I am on the lookout for upgrade now and looking for budget (75$) AC or at least dual band router that supports Gargoyle.
My internet connection will be 75mbps but I am not so concerned if I get slightly slower wi-fi connectivity due to comparitively less powerful router. I want to have good wi-fi connectivity between all devices and should be able to stream Xbox One, which is my main requirement.
From what I have researched, Archer C5 would be good fit. I am looking for more alternatives. It would be super helpful if you could suggest me some alternatives.
Thank you!

It is, but only if you can get version 1.2. Version 2 has a different chipset (Broadcom instead of Atheros) and isn't supported by OpenWRT and hence Gargoyle.enli wrote: From what I have researched, Archer C5 would be good fit.

Agreed with above. Buying a c5 is risky because you will likely get a bad version.
