Linksys WAG160N

Post by crowcreekc »

Has anyone attempted putting Gargoyle on a Linksys WAG160N? or is anyone working on a version?

Also, has anyone looked at NetComm routers and Modem routers?

Thanks,
Richard

Hi - I currently have a WAG160N and just wondering if there has been any progress on developing Gargoyle for this router?
Cheers!

Check that thread

Looks like it might be supported by OpenWRT or they may
still be working on it.

BE AWARE - there is a chance your DSL modem function will
no longer work - because there are no drivers loaded for it.

Some DSL drivers are proprietary and open source cannot always
include it in the firmware builds.

If you are using it as a DSL modem also - I wouldn't chance it.
