Hi!
I love Gargoyle and was just recently flashing it onto another router,
but this time from a machine that did not have a graphical browser.
(I'm currently posting this message from the w3m text-based browser on
a GNU/Linux console).
I was disappointed to find out that gargoyle-router.com/download
*requires* Javascript. I thought maybe I'd find a direct link to the
firmware if I used Google, but no such luck. (Is gargoyle-router.com
not allowing search engines to index the downloads?)
Google did suggest I download Gargoyle from some sketchy third party
site (top4download? downloads4u? something suspicious like that). I
tried, and sure enough, it let me download Gargoyle firmware with this
text browser. I couldn't find an online list of the correct MD5 sum
for this file, though, so who knows if what I'm about to flash onto my
router is genuine. (Crossing my fingers as I begin the tftp...).
It'd be nice if people like me who want Gargoyle never have to go to
back-alley download sites to get it. Would it be possible to also have
a plain directory of the firmware files on gargoyle-router.com?
Thanks,

One could always compile the version they wanted.
Or use an alternate machine to get the image
Or download the latest development snap shots via torrent or my website.
I don't have a mirror of the official versions, and I'd probably consider your use case "rare"
