Hourly quota set for all ip addresses

Post by Goldex »

I am doing a roadshow at a stall for a supplier who wants to demo their product on the internet.

I want to limit wireless clients to a certain amount of data i.e 50Mb

Can the quota limit be set hourly per ip address range? DHCP time to live for ip will be set to an hour, if the user exceeds 50 Mb within the hour browsing should stop.

They have a cache server with http data of most of their products, internet access is only for sign up purpose and to browse items which is not cached, therefor limit is required for free wifi abusers which hangs around the stall.

Yes. But the range of ip is harder to setup than "all individuals without a quota". That is what i would use
