Unmetred traffic

Post by VirgilC »

Firstly thanks to Eric and all that have contributed to this wonderful network control. Many months of research led me to Gargoyle and now we have some excellent automated control.

Our ISP provides a large range of free content and I am wondering if it is possible to specify a range of ip addresses that will not be included in the quota count.

From my understanding this is possible

If you get yourself a router and have a play this should become more clear

No problems, thanks for the reply, looks like the boys will have to manage their quota better....

maybe run a proxy (which is set up to allow access to these places only)? if you've a spare machine, or willing to do a custom build of gargoyle it may work?
