Speed limit problem

Post by stensyto »

Hello. I have a router TL-WDR4300 with gargoyle v.1.9.1. I have internet speeds of 1000 Mbps, but my router reduces speed to 100-150 Mbps using a cable to the computer. I use the default settings! Why is that do you think?

HWNAT is disabled in third party firmware so all routing is processed by the CPU.
You're hitting the limit of your hardware.

Your router is not fast.
It is limiting your internet.
Stock firmware does not have this limitation.
