Curious about putting Gargoyle on the WZR-1750DHPD (I mistakenly thought that shipping with DD-WRT meant great Linux support)

Is it supported in Openwrt Chaos_Calmer Branch? kinda (apparently 802.11bn has very short range, fixed in DD)
Does it have >= 8MB of flash? Yes, 128MB
Does it have USB support? Yes

I understand range and USB support might be bad to nil. That's OK. It even sounds like you can stick a $20.00 USB wifi dongle in it to skip the awful Broadcom radios: https://forum.openwrt.org/viewtopic.php?id=60934

Problem would be that other will try this build and be very disappointed with gargoyle.

That makes sense. I'll ask again when we're on DD and everything should work fine.

That router is 8MB/64MB... This one is 128MB/512MB. I'll continue squeaking by on my 32MB TP-Link for now. But thanks!
