LINKSYS WRT1900ACS-UK

Hello

I have just ordered

LINKSYS WRT1900ACS-UK Cable & Fibre Router

http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/computing ... display~RR

I should have the modem by Thursday, if I need to supply the serial number and version number etc..

Wondering if I will be able to install Gargoyle on this.

Hope you can help A friend of mine as the WRT1900ac and is running the 1.9.1 version of the firmware

Have never heard of the "ACS-UK", so it may be safer to wait for your serial number to make it easier to identify :). It is probably just marketing speak. Or it may indicate the region locking present on the device.

Hi mate had a look on google and can't find the acxUK so we will have to see what it says on your box. :)
Maybe it's just a labelling mistake by the vender.

Hello

I will let you know late on Thursday.

Maybe the UK bit is just there as it is sold in the UK. So I just get the serial number off it and any other info on the label.

My friend has the AC version of this router and he has the 1.9.1 installed ok.

So which version can i use to download. 1.9.1. As there seems to be quite a few

I am new to this sort of stuff flashing firmware on routers. I do not want to download the wrong one.

1.9.1 is fine. If you have problems with the wifi driver we will investigate getting you into the latest beta code.
You need "Cobra" as per the table of hardware here
