Asus RT-AC56U

Post by ihoman202 »

Hi I am new to the forums, I want to figure out what kind of hardware / chipset my ASUS RT-AC56U Has it was bought from walmart and currently is running ASUS WRT-Merlin Firmware but would like to have Gargoyle firmware on it as it seems to have a more developed more stable openvpn support. Does anyone know what the chipset is and if the model is compatible if so, any experience with it, how does it run, stable, unstable etc? Let me know in the comments below

It's a BCM53xx chip.
It should be supportable but I don't believe an image has been generated on gargoyle yet.
