Hi,
Now that I have got Gargoyle running exactly as I want it, we will be moving house! The house that I am moving to is 1 of 3 on-site at the business I work for.
There are 2 internet connections - 1 for the business, and 1 for the 3 houses. I have not seen the hardware for the residential connection, but I imagine that it splits from a switch, which gives us our 1 ethernet port in each house.
What I would like to know, is that if I connect the WAN port of my Gargoyle router to this ethernet port, will the other 2 houses still have un-affected internet access?
I would like to do this so as nobody in the other houses can access our LAN (files and printers etc), I can restrict data within our own house, and so all 3 houses still have full internet access.
Multiple houses, 1 connection - will it work

It will very likely work, but since I don't know for certain how that network is configured (and neither do you, it seems), there's no way to be 100% sure.

Ok thanks, I will see how it goes. Once I'm there I will take a look at the equipment.
