Wireless bridging with IPv6

Post by jameskalb »

The arpnat patches enabled layer 2 bridging of ipv4 traffic from an ethernet interface to a wifi interface. Is the same possible with ipv6 traffic? From what I've read it looks like the ipv6 support is ripped out of the Gargoyle project. Is bridging of ipv6 traffic possible without a similar patch?

No IPv6 support. We have also moved away from the ARPNAT patches. I believe IPv6 is supported by the latest version of relayd, which is the new method being used. However, gargoyle still has no opv6 support.
