samba: sync patches with CC

fix patch updates to samba, so patches apply and samba compiles -- all parts of patches being applied to source3/rpc_server/srv_pipe.c or source3/rpc_server/cli_pipe.c seem to fail

NETGEAR WNDR3700v4 working
NETGEAR WNDR3700v4 or an old Soup can with string. So hard to tell these days.

Report for this build

I have put this build into a production network on and Archer C7 (older model) in a crowded wifi area.

Everything seams to work well except wifi

With the default settings I got very poor wifi speed 1-2 Mbps with a poor ping

After some experimentation, changing channels and turning things on and off I found the AC turned on was bad?

also many 5Ghz channels don't work, I could only get the to lowest to work?

In the end the best I could get was about 45Mbps up and down with this config (Network Max 200Mbps down 100Mps up)

Image

Just for interest, without any QOS or other features turned on the fastest fixed wire speed was about 130Mbps down 100Mps up +/-

I had to remove this build from production

Unproven but.........

- Unstable OpenVPN?
- Wifi a bit suspect
- Android clients had problems connecting through ubnt unfi using Gargoyle as DHCP server.
-Something strange also going on with DNS server?

Just generally unstable

Installed old gargoyle router with older version

anybody else experiencing anything like the above?

I'm going to install cc 15.05.1 on the same router in the same site to see if its gargoyle or OpenWRT
