Monitoring Devices Connected to Router after Gargoyle Router

Sounds like you're still not quite on the right setting.

You have Connect Via set to Disabled?
Then you use one of the LAN ports as your input, and the rest of your LAN ports as outputs.
You can then set the IP of the router normally in the GUI, which is what the router will ask the DHCP server for. If it can't get it then it will get something else.

So the router will get an IP address, and this is what you use to connect to the GUI to make changes.

Ok I got it working! I'm not sure what I did differently, but did a factory reset on the 2nd router. Maybe the problem was when I first set it up, I set the Router IP to 192.168.0.1 and then from then on, after setting it's LAN IP address to 192.168.1.xxx, something didn't click.
So now I first set the Router IP address to 192.168.1.9, and now when I go to that IP address, it goes to the router login for that specific router, no matter what computer on the network I'm on, which is great.

When I got to Internet Connection, it's still set to DHCP (the way the 2nd router accesses internet), but isn't the router just a dumb switch now? It's set to DHCP but everything seems to work perfectly. I'm not sure if Gargoyle from the original router is assigning this 2nd router an IP address or not, but it doesn't need one, since it's just passing other devices through, right?

All seems to be working as it should. Gargoyle router does not see the 2nd router, it only sees the devices that are connected through it.

Yep I turned of DHCP server so that the secondary router is not providing any IP addresses, it's all be assigned by Gargoyle. So router is still set to DHCP under Connection Type, even though it's not actually receiving an IP address from Gargoyle.
