Same experience as April 8 torrent
tapper was right in that Enforce DHCP assignment breaks repeater if ticked.
I've tried many versions without success until reading tapper's comments on April 8 torrent.
Now it works but without ip control.
I'm happy though.
Thanks all for the great software!

I tried the command "firstboot" but nothing happened (maybe is broken?)simono_pl wrote:I think You should use firstboot.
With the command "mtd -r erase rootfs_data" worked pretty well.

I changed the download speed value.Lantis wrote:shm0 wrote:Thanks for the update!
I did it again, i flashed with preserve settings checked.
As before everything seems to work fine.
I was testing different download speeds for download qos.
I just change the download speed and hit Save Changes.
This worked like 15-20 times.
But then suddenly after i hit save changes i cant connect to the router anymore or to the internet.
Can this really be a preserve settings problem? I mean it works but after some edit and save action it suddenly stops working?
Are you repeatedly hitting save without refreshing the page?
Hit Save Changes.
Did a speedtest.
And repeat the progress.

I had firstboot fail on me to. After my c7 went in to a bootloop "mtd -r erase rootfs_data" did the trick.daniel3x wrote:I tried the command "firstboot" but nothing happened (maybe is broken?)simono_pl wrote:I think You should use firstboot.

The correct command is now "firstboot -y" as far as I'm aware.
If it fails, the mtd command is fine.

this build is good on my c7 and my wdr3600 apart from the DHCP bug.

Thanks for this.
Just to let you know, the C7 firmware doesn't work due to a new flash chip. See my message here: http://www.gargoyle-router.com/phpbb/vi ... 498#p37498
If you could integrate this change it would be swell - I have no idea if this is trivial or a lot of work.
