Hey all,
Just got off of the phone with the cable company that "provides" my internet services.
They've ran new wire etc.
Here's the thing, I can get online via my computer and Xbox if I hardwire directly to the modem. They say they can pull an IP for both when I have them connected, which makes sense. Now here's the problem, I have used TWO different routers to try and connect to the interwebs, neither of them work. I have a Linksys EA6200 that I reset to defaults with the stock firmware. I have also tried my TP-LINK TL-WR1043ND with gargoyle firmware, tried setting it to gateway and bridge, yet nothing. Any ideas or questions would be nice. The techs at the Cable CO. Said they don't have their DNS server IP for me to try and use a static route.
Unable to connect via DSL modem

Re: Unable to connect via DSL modem
My thought would be to connect the gargoyle via a LAN port from the DSL modem to the WAN of gargoyle.
Set gargoyle to DHCP wired.
If default DNS doesn't work use google or opendns.

Thanks Lantis,
Tried both, no dice. Thanks for the quick response! Any other ideas?
