If I do a router reboot everything is super fast for a while and then it slows massively.
System background:
Router: WRT1900ac ver 2
Gargoyle Version: ispy build 1.9.X (Built 20160321-2244 git@a36337c)
Wan Link: 50/20 NBN Fibre
On my network I have devices in a few categories and everything is assigned static ip:
1) My server - 192.168.1.11
2) My devices - 192.168.1.2/19
3) Unknown devices (DHCP Assigned) - 192.168.1.200/249
4) IP Phone - 192.168.1.151
5) Work PC - 192.168.1.152
6) Kids devices and other misc stuff
I have QOS categories set up for these devices filtering by ip:
Server - Server
Fast - My devices and Work PC
VOIP - IP Phone
Shaped - Unknown devices (and kids devices if they go over quota)
Normal - all other devices
Here is the settings from the download QOS Screen
Code: Select all
Destination: 192.168.1.11 Server
Destination: 192.168.1.151 VoIP
Destination: 192.168.1.152 Fast
Destination: 192.168.1.2/10 Fast
Destination: 192.168.1.12/19 Fast
VoIP 1% 150 300
Fast 53% zero nolimit
Normal 35% zero nolimit
Server 10% zero nolimit
Shaped 1% zero 64
This is the same for other downloads as well.
Its almost like there is a big burst of speed during the initial connection and then it seems to pause mid download....
Rebooting the router fixes this for a short period.
Can anyone give any advice or point my in the direction of things to test / try?
