WR1043nd (1.8) with Gargoyle 1.8.0 - Web UI Crashing

Post by psycik »

Web UI seems to be crashing. I can log in, normally check one thing on the status page (bandwidth usage for example) and then the graphs reset and if I try and do something else it takes me back to the login page.

I have a look in logread and it doesn't have anything. I check the status page and the uptime hasn't reset and the internet is still going, but the web page is pretty unusable.

It seemed alright last night but this morning it's not happy.

Hmm, just tried it with chrome (rather than firefox) and it stayed up....but the firefox browser kept resetting back to the login page.

Odd, so maybe it is up the whole time but there's a brower incompatibility (FF 41.0.2)

Not bad if I read this right

Memory Usage:17.2MB / 60MB (28.7%)
Connections:245/4096
CPU Load Averages:0.23 / 0.13 / 0.14 (1/5/15 minutes)

This is the longest period I've had it up lately at 12 days. I thought it was teamviewer related

Possibile. I'm on 1.8.0 currently if that's the version affected.

1.8.X and upwards are I believe.
I'm trying to fix it but it's a complicated patch and I keep getting it wrong.

Hi. Any progress with this? I haven't been game enough to try the 1.8.1 or 1.9.0 u less you think there might be something of value in these that may fix the problem.

I seem to be fine Sind days, others when just browsing (while say streaming over Lan) it'll crash and reboot.

We fixed that particular bug. Whether or not your problem is because of it is another debate.

IS that fixed in 1.8.1 or 1.9.0 or both?
