Let's just double check your settings.

Remind me of your end goal?
Is it to kill off Netflix, or make it only use the minimum required for it to work?
What "quality" do you watch Netflix in, standard or HD

Hi Guys,

This reminds me of an issue that I had reported before and it was resolved by a QoS workaround:
http://www.gargoyle-router.com/phpbb/vi ... 9&start=30

This was on my TP-Link TL-WR1043ND Ver. 1.6

The workaround above does indeed work.
It may be that the router was being stressed when heavy demand was placed on it during heavy uploads and downloads.

Simply put, the workaround limits the Max Upload and Download to 99% of the "Total Bandwidth" (which is a manually entered parameter and can be tweaked to theoretically use the actual Max/Min of your specific service)

Hope this helps.

So. It seems to be related to the bandwidth data, @Lantis... I had I guess about 4 odd months of data, and I was inspired by another thread to try clearing the data.

I just cleared history, and it seems to be staying up a little better....

or not.

I'll try the QoS workaround specified in that other thread.

It's probably a combination of both problems I think.

We did update the imq patch to try to fix this. It would be in the last 2 weeks I believe.

hmm.

so, it only seems to struggle/reboot when the bandwidth is being maxxed, e.g. an unthrottled device downloading at full speed.

Really annoying when trying to download that 4.2GB XCode update.
