WDS vs. Repeater (R) vs. Repeater Bridge (RB)

Post by windowsrefund »

http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Re ... omparisons

Studying the above information and find myself wondering which are supported by Gargoyle? I know RB is supported but is R or WDS?

Exploring all these possibilies with a TP-LINK WR1043ND v2.1

Thanks in advance

WDS no.

Repeater yes. Although I'm not sure I fully understand their definition.
In my eyes, connecting a router via Ethernet and having it broadcast an SSID which allows users to connect to the original network is a "repeater" though I'm not sure that's entirely accurate.
