I still have this old but beautiful router laying around begging me to fix it. Would anyone care to give me help, or point me in the direction of a tutorial I can make sense of?
I'm convinced it just needs flashing properly, I just really can't fathom out how to do it "manually"...

Ok, so i've struggled with this and got literally no further
, I can't seem to find the information i need spelt out for me in a way i understand what to do. I have a brick on my hands, if anyone would like to take it off me? I'm "getting by" with my ****y all in one router/hub provided by my isp for now and its killing me....
What is recommended on the router front now days? I just want functionality that is similar to this little old router I had, it was previously awesome. I don't really need anymore bells and whistles i don't think.
Hopefully I don't have to spend the £100 odd i did originally right?

I have the same router and recently had to go through the tftp recovery method. It would not work with Window 7. I had to use an Ubuntu installation CD that I installed to a flash drive. You can then copy the firmware and instructions to the flash drive.

It could take up to 15minutes, maybe longer.
