Need Access Point Help Please

Hi.
I currenlty have a Netgear wndr 3800 with Gargoyle ver. 1.9 installed as my primary wireless router.

I have purchased a second Netgear wndr 3800 now loaded with Gargoyle ver. 1.9 for my detached garage that gets a poor wifi signal. I ran a CAT5 wire to my garage. I would like to know best set up settings for second (garage) router. I keep seeing bridge/repeater setting,but im not sure that is what i need. Is it better to set up second router as an AP because I ran the CAT5? Any help would be greatly appreciate. Thanks

If you ran some cat5 then I'd personally set connect via to "disabled". Then bridge the wan port to the LAN so you gain an extra port.
Then plug it in and it becomes a simple switch. You could also turn on wireless of course.
