Help: wired gateway does not work

I'm facing a strange issue...
I've got a WNDR3700V2, with WAN port and 4 LAN ports, and Gargoyle 1.8.1

If I set WAN connection as DHCP Wireless, everything works just fine: the Gargoyle router gets the IP address from DHCP from the main router.

If I set WAN connection as DHCP wired, Gargoyle router does not get any IP address from the main router.

Eth cable and config from main router are ok, because if I connect my laptop, it gets a correct IP address.

Any suggestion?

You could try Static IP (Wired) I don't no if you have to change subnets though!
