Email Plugin

I have a TP Link WDR 3600 router which I am using. I am trying to set up the email plugin, using Google's smtp server. I followed the directions at https://www.digitalocean.com/community/ ... mtp-server to fill in various fields using my personal email address, enabled TSL, and set up the test email to send to another email. However, I never receive test emails (or any others or that matter). Is there something obvious that I am doing wrong?
