QoS mechanisms and concepts

Post by shreyas.r89 »

Hello,

I am looking for QoS mechanisms for source redundancy where in if there are many sources and one source fails, the service has to be switched to the other available source. Can anyone please let me know the best QoS mechanisms and concepts for this?

Also for Reliability I am looking for an acknowledgement mechanism. Kindly let me know.

After this I will be writing a QoS API.

This would be of great help. Thanks in advance. :)

Are you referring to WAN failover?
If so, you're looking for the multiwan3 package on openwrt. Gargoyle has no GUI support for such a thing.

Also I have deleted the duplicate topic in the Off Topic forum. We only need the one.
