Hi,
I have just implemented Gargoyle at home and would like to thank the Authors for a fantastic piece of software!
I do seem to have come across a small bug however with the Bandwidth Useage Table. The below is the data for one of my computers for days (I've only just installed the router).
Time Total Download Upload
May 17 0.089 GBytes 0.078 GBytes 0.011 GBytes
May 16 0.179 GBytes 0.170 GBytes 0.009 GBytes
May 15 0.176 GBytes 0.164 GBytes 0.011 GBytes
May 14 0.000 GBytes 0.000 GBytes 0.000 GBytes
The data below is for the same computer for the month.
Time Total Download Upload
May 2010 0.258 GBytes 0.239 GBytes 0.018 GBytes
As you can see the data does not tally up correctly. I have checked this for a number of hosts within my home network and they are all displaying the same behaviour. This issue also exists in the B/W Distribution page.

Re: Error in Bandwidth Distribution Table
I've had a bit of trouble replicating this with artificial data (i.e. jumping the time forward artificially), but that doesn't mean the bug isn't there (just that it's hard to replicate artificially).
I've set a router up to see if I can replicate this bug over the next couple of days with real data.

Re: Error in Bandwidth Distribution Table
Hi Eric,
I have a bit of an update for you:
The differences between the monthly totals and the sum of the daily totals has remained consistent for each of my computers in the network. (ie: each new day's total seems to be added on correctly - with the exception of the third decimal digit which I guess is probably likely to be rounding errors). So it would seem that the error happened sometime early on and has now remained consist. An update for the computer I reported previously is below:
Time Total Download Upload
May 21 0.007 GBytes 0.007 GBytes 0.000 GBytes
May 20 0.689 GBytes 0.671 GBytes 0.017 GBytes
May 19 0.464 GBytes 0.456 GBytes 0.007 GBytes
May 18 0.638 GBytes 0.616 GBytes 0.022 GBytes
May 17 0.104 GBytes 0.092 GBytes 0.012 GBytes
May 16 0.179 GBytes 0.170 GBytes 0.009 GBytes
May 15 0.176 GBytes 0.164 GBytes 0.011 GBytes
May 14 0.000 GBytes 0.000 GBytes 0.000 GBytes
Time Total Download Upload
May 2010 2.073 GBytes 2.005 GBytes 0.068 GBytes
