when my phone ringing my Gargoyle Dlink dir 825 disconnected

i have tp link adsl 2+ modem and i connected wan port of my Gargoyle Dlink dir 825 to tp link adsl modem by ppoe Wired! all things is OK! but when my phone ringing my Gargoyle Dlink dir 825 disconnected from internet!
i call to my isp provider and they say you should activate G.DMT Modulation or G.lite on your modem! why there is not this setting on my Gargoyle Dlink dir 825!
does i downgrade to another firmware?

I am not familiar with this protocol but it sounds like a limitation of your tp link adsl 2+ modem, rather than a limitation of your Gargoyle router. What model is your tp link adsl 2+ modem?

This is all to do with your modem, not Gargoyle.

If your ISPs suggestion does not work I would suggest that your ADSL filters are either not present or incorrectly installed.

ADSL filters have nothing to do with Gargoyle. You are dealing with a separate part of your internet installation.
