Support for Xiaomi MiWifi Mini Router

It's recent, but you think we can see a future version of Gargoyle on this router?

Mi Router Mini is $30, has 16MB of Flash & 128MB of RAM.
I wonder if a version of Gargoyle is available to download?

It is supported in Chaos Calmer so that is a good sign, however at this point in time that particularly architecture isn't being built. We will know more in a few months.

Yes it would be very easy (in my opinion) to add support for this router (mini), you should try it and let us know.

thank you. will reflash my 841n and see if it fixes the high ping when under load issue, if not i will buy the xiaomi router.

Oh ok. Is it something that i would have to do 1x or every time i would want to flash newer version. Because i have 0 coding skills but i have a friend making doctor degree from coding so if its a 1x thing he would probably do it for me.

Just a 1 time thing.
You could probably do it yourself, don't underestimate your own abilities.

The basic process is,
Download the gargoyle source code.
make custom
Go through the menu and select your router
Go and select the gargoyle addons
Save config (for next time) and build

Takes ~6 hours

If you found that it worked really well, you could then send the config to me or someone else, and we could add it to the project and then every new release would have it. No more effort from you.

If you get REALLY stuck, let me know in the Router Firmware Request thread and I'll see what I can do for you.
