WRT610N v1
Does WRT610N v1 on gargoyle support 5ghz and N speeds. Openwrt says it comes with b43, so 5GHz wireless will not work and only BG rates will be available. That makes it less than desirable to run if true. Also will the USB port work in gargoyle to share files on my network?
Re: WRT610N v1
Gargoyle does not extend the wireless support provided by OpenWrt.emedlin wrote:Does WRT610N v1 on gargoyle support 5ghz and N speeds. Openwrt says it comes with b43, so 5GHz wireless will not work and only BG rates will be available.

Re: WRT610N v1
Openwrt does say, "The closed-source wl can be used for both." Is that something I can add to Gargoyle easily?nworbnhoj wrote:Gargoyle does not extend the wireless support provided by OpenWrt.emedlin wrote:Does WRT610N v1 on gargoyle support 5ghz and N speeds. Re: WRT610N v1
You would need to compile your own version. No guarantees it will work.
Even if it does work, no guarantees that the GUI will react correctly to the changes.
