Re: Version 1.7.2
Thank you for this Eric.. i decided to give this a try on a C7 converted from a C5 converted from DDwrt -> stock -> gargoyle 172.
The router is used as an AP so most of its services are switched off except for USB (have a 500Gb NTFS disk connected) and of course dual band wireless.
First thing i noticed is that after set up, i was getting inconsistent access to the shared drive from a Windows 10 machine. Not sure why this is - maybe its just Windows as on my mbp and adnroid tablet i had no probs.
Second thing i noticed re. wireless - is that ch 100 seems gone. Using 149 and frankly I am equally happy so far. The front 2.5/5 ghz LEDs are also not functioning.
Other than that - so far so good. Can't wait for the CC release tbh.

Any other things that I can check?

- The TOR plugin installs, and shows as installed (on plugins.sh and gpkg list-installed)
- however TOR does not appear in GUI menu (even after reboot).
- /www/tor.sh does not exist.
- /etc/tor.firewall does exist with size = 10966.
- /www/tor/ does exist but is empty.
- gpkg remove plugin-gargoyle-tor results in "ERROR: Package plugin-gargoyle-tor is installed to destination 'plugin_root' which is not writable, cannot uninstall"

Can you help someone else get Gargoyle up and running?

Re: Version 1.7.2
5Ghz now shows up in the config for Archer C7 V2.
Bug:
In the channel config, the 2.4Ghz channel select shows 5Ghz channels and vise versa.
5Ghz channels: 1-11
2.4Ghz channels: 36-165
If I try to change 5Gz to 40Mhz its available channels dropdown goes blank.
Currently showing 2.4Gz on channel 1 and 5Ghz enabled.
Wi-Fi snoop shows channel 6 and no 5Ghz.

Re: Version 1.7.2
I think that things might be a little tangled now that I have tried a few things - may have to reinstall and reconfigure from scratch ....

I can not enable tor

Re: Version 1.7.2
Any one upgraded to 1.7.2 to TP-Link TL-WR1043N/ND V1. Any problem expected?
Re: Version 1.7.2
I have updated from version 1.7.1 to 1.7.2. Updated to 1.7.2 without preserve my settings. I restored my settings from the backup file that I saved before I updated to 1.7.2. After the restore off the settings I can no longer access the router's web interface (I get the message that the page can not be displayed). The routers work fine but I cant make any Changes to its configuration because of the missing web interface. How do I fix this problem with the missing web interface?
