router not showing in network list

Just did a firmware upload 1.62 on a WNDR3700 v2 and the router is not showing in network list. I can log on to it just fine but it does not show on the network. The old firm use to show router icon and OpenWrt.

Its on, all my computers show up on the network except the router. I have 6 computers 2 printers they all are listed just no router.

Do you have UPMP on?

That did it, router now shows up

The windows network list populates itself using a few protocols (upnp is one of them).
If it can't get a response then it assumes no device exists.
It makes sense, but I wouldn't have necessarily joined the dots either!
