Connect a wlan router behind a cable router

Re: Connect a wlan router behind a cable router
I get the message that it is not allowed to set up same static IP as the modem has. Static IP address 192.168.1.1 is not allowed. Probably it is hard coded, there can not be allocated a static IP that is the default gateway 192.168.1.1 of the router. Even when you disable dhcp it is not allowed. Pretty annoying.

kevkra. I am sorry but I think that we are having language/translation issues and not understanding one another.
I think that you can get your Gargoyle network working despite the restrictions on your ISP modem. (see my last post)
either you are missing something, or I am missing something - I do not know which.

Can you help someone else get Gargoyle up and running?

Re: Connect a wlan router behind a cable router
It seems to me that it is not possible to get it working with my router. There is no bridge mode available and you can not allocate a static IP like 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1.The static IP must be 192.168.1.2 or higher for instance 192.168.1.3.
