Gargoyle and TPlink

Post by nizkiseb »

Hello. My name is Sebastian i am new on this forum. I have a problem that only one ip which i have is external. So i can reach it from outside my company. I would like to use my tplink in one location with oryginal software to connect with Gargoyle router. Then to be able to login on to that other computer. Please let me know if aby of you ever tried such solution.

Thx in advance. Sebastian

I am not sure that I am understanding your situation.
  • Are both routers in the same location with a wired connection?
  • Do you have a TP-Link router in one location, and a Gargoyle router in another location?
  • Do you want to connect from one router to the other over the Internet?
  • What do you mean that you have one external IP?
Can you help someone else get Gargoyle up and running?

Hi, yes i thing this manual is useful. I am wondering how to connect tp link with original software. Is this is possible to do that. Like a router in my office tp link with original software will connect to gargoyle software?

Best regards,

Sebastian

The only part of the TP-Link firmware I remember is the Firmware Upgrade page

If the TP-Link firmware supports OpenVPN then I see no reason that the two would not connect. However perhaps someone who has actually done this can confirm.

From memory some TP-link devices do have VPN built it but to the best of my knowledge not OpenVPN so he will be out of luck.

So the answer is most likly "No"
