how to find supported USB modems

sorry for the newb question. I am trying to determine what USB modems, if any, might be supported.

I have a TP-Link WR1043ND (v1.11) with Gargoyle 1.7

I have been using this router for some time using the WAN port, but need to dump that service. My cheapest option is to get a USB LTE modem with Sprint.

Can anyone point me to a list of models? My Google fu is weak

btw, Gargoyle's supported hardware list only shows up to v1.8. I have again the v1.11 router with no issues for 2 years.
