PPTP on TP-LINK TL-WR703N

I recently purchased a TP-LINk TL-WR703N (version 1.6, verified using internal sticker) and installed Gargoyle v1.7 on it. I then installed the package labeled "PPTP Support for Gargoyle" (version 20131020-2) and rebooted. I don't see any PPTP options in the web GUI now, but opkg does report that the PPTP packages are installed. Is this an issue with Gargoyle v1.7? Should I revert to v1.6.2?
