Block of Public IPs

Post by WAudette »

I realize that I may not be able to do this within the GUI, but I am happy to do it via the CLI if necessary.

I am a Network Engineer and have leased my home equipment with a block of 5 Static Public IPs for WAN Services.

I was wondering if there was any way to do a 1 to 1 NAT on these devices for an IP outside of the one my Gargoyle Router uses for servicing most of my home.

In essence I'd be putting him in the DMZ Mode but for an IP Address not assigned for routing normal traffic.

The PS4 could still connect to wireless with a non routable (192.168.x.x) IP assigned through either static IP or DHCP Reservation then route all external traffic to say the second IP in my block of IPs to this address.

It would be nice if I could send Guest Services out an alternate Public IP as well, but that is for another day.
