Installing Gargoyle over openwrt

Post by Quattr00 »

How can I add the Gargoyle package over openwrt?
I don't know much about linux.

If anyone have a tutorial on how to do it....Please help.

I have been able to telnet to openwrt but can't get to it anymore. It tells me connection to host lost.

TIA

Gargoyle is using OpenWRT

Gargoyle is a sophisticated GUI front end for it.

Flash a fresh version of Gargoyle, and then re-load any packages
you might have onto it as you normally would with OpenWRT
 Soylent Green Is People!
2x Asus RT-N16 = Asus 3.0.0.4.374.43 Merlin
2x Buffalo WZR-HP-G300NH V1 A0D0 = Gargoyle 1.9.x / LEDE 17.01.x
2x Engenius - ESR900 Stock 1.4.0 / OpenWRT Trunk 49400

Thanks, I actually had already installed Gargoyle but couldn't telnet to it.

How do I add packages to Gargoyle? I have used linex and have been succesful to follow instructions but I can seem to find such a guide here or anywhere else. Maybe I am looking in the wrong places using wrong keywords.

I was able to telnet to openwrt but once I closed the sesion could not get back to it. I would think that that would happen to Gargoyle too.

Is it there something to read to follow how to master Gargoyle?

TIA

I am admittedly curious on this subject too, wishing to investigate this nice looking UI, but having a wndr3700, and thus needing to run on the cutting edge trunk to be of any use.
