Version 1.6.2

Started with 4 Ports being Forwarded (22, 515, 8080 & 80). After Disabling Port 8080, ONLY 2 Ports remained. After trying a Reboot and then a Power Cycle, I was left with ZERO Ports being Forwarded??? Hence all Forwarded Ports had to be re-Entered!!!

NOTE: Version 1.6.2 running on a TL-WR841N/ND v7

Hi, I also started noting that my ports are not forwarded anymore. Both individual ports and ranges disappear sometimes. I'm restarting the router weekly, otherwise my wifi has some issues.

The weird part is that I checked the gui yesterday and only 1 port out of 7 was shown as forwarded. I checked this today when I wanted add the missing ports again, but they were already there in GUI.

I'm running 1.6.1@WNDR3700v1 and openvpn for couple of months since the heartbleed fix. But I think I have these issues only for a last month or two.

Nothing is wrong, OpenWrt (Gargoyle) is not using the hardware NAT. The stock firmware is making use of it.

Nothing is wrong, OpenWrt (Gargoyle) is not using the hardware NAT. The stock firmware is making use of it.

This release is still based on the "Attitude Adjustment" (12.09) branch of OpenWRT but after this release, work will focus on porting Gargoyle to the latest Barrier Breaker (14.07) branch of OpenWRT. I expect to have a version running on Barrier breaker by late October/ early November.

New in 1.6.2:

• OpenSSL updated again, with some more critical fixes
• OpenWRT version updated to include latest fixes in Attitude Adjustment branch
• Some minor tweaks to enhance wireless performance -- ANI is now disabled by default, and dissoc_low_ack set to 0
• Search results from thepiratebay torrent tracker added to web search monitoring tool (thanks to Kim Bratzel for this patch)
• Update Dropbear SSH server to latest version
• Fix removal of hostname when static IP addresse is removed in DHCP section
• Alix builds now boot with GRUB2 instead of GRUB

it no have sense release of bb for gargoyle whit the chaos calmer in the corner in his december release

either way it would be 1.7 Experimental then 1.8 Stable, no difference at all by skipping bb.
