Gargoyle upgrade Question

Post by Mutiny1 »

I currently run a flawless 1.5x version, But as it is 2 years old I would like to upgrade. Going through the documentation leads me to think the file I need is:
gargoyle_1.6.2-ar71xx-generic-wndr3700v2-squashfs-sysupgrade.bin

My question: Is that the correct bin for an upgrade as long as I don't preserve the settings?

Edit: Also, has a method been implemented to direct syslogs to a remote server yet?

Version 1.6.2
This release is still based on the "Attitude Adjustment" (12.09) branch of OpenWRT but after this release, work will focus on porting Gargoyle to the latest Barrier Breaker (14.07) branch of OpenWRT. I expect to have a version running on Barrier breaker by late October/ early November
