Best Router/3G/4G Modem combination

Hi everybody,

I saw this wiki-article on the topic of 3G compatiblity - http://www.gargoyle-router.com/wiki/doku.php?id=3g

Would you have a recommendation for a rock solid combination of a Gargoyle enabled router and compatible 3G modem and/or 4G modem?

Could I get a factory configured TP-Link WR1043ND, install Gargoyle and plug pretty much any modem in? Both 3G and 4G?

Would the TP-Link TL-WDR3600 be better?

PS: If you have a specific recommendation in mind the modem should have an external antenna connection and work in Europe since we are pretty far out there

This is very similar to my recent post. It would be Very helpful to have Quotas for the limited 4G data plans.
