Gargoyle to OpenWRT

Hi all,

I currently have a TP-WDR3600 on 1.6.2 Gargoyle however I would like to try OpenWRT as I am having some stability issues. Is this the proper procedure to do so, using SSH?

What about if I want to go back to Gargoyle? Is it the same procedure?

Could you please elaborate what kind of issues are you having with Gargoyle on TP-Link WDR3600?

Also, which version/model your WDR3600 is? I've got a 1.1 model running OpenWRT just fine (can't seem to get it to transmit on the higher 5Ghz n-only channels tho) but actually wanted to try out Gargoyle.

I have the same hardware version. On Gargoyle 1.6.2 I was having troubles with DHCP where all of a sudden it would start giving out the wrong addresses which would result in the connection not working. Haven't tried any other version yet though. I'm also on OpenWRT now and it's stable.
